PRESS RELEASE<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alby PtX AB, a joint venture between Norsk e-Fuel and Prime Capital with support from RES, has appointed Ramboll as Owner\u2019s Technical Consultant (OTC) for its planned e-Fuel production facility in Alby, Sweden. The project will produce sustainable aviation fuel (e-SAF) to contribute to the defossilization of the aviation sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The appointment of Ramboll marks an important milestone as Alby PtX progresses from development into implementation planning. As an international engineering and consultancy company with extensive experience in energy and industrial infrastructure, Ramboll will support the Alby PtX project by advancing the plant\u2019s technical concept and preparing it for the next stage of engineering and later construction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Acting as Owner\u2019s Technical Consultant, Ramboll will support Alby PtX with technical integration, design development, and project planning to ensure the facility is built on a strong technical, environmental, and regulatory foundation. Ramboll will also advise on project coordination and management systems to help maintain quality, schedule, and risk control throughout development. This engagement provides independent technical assurance and helps prepare the project for bankability and long-term investment readiness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe appointment of Ramboll as Owner\u2019s Technical Consultant represents an important step in the development of the Alby PtX project,\u201d said Karl Hauptmeier, CEO of Norsk e-Fuel. \u201cWith Ramboll\u2019s experience in large-scale energy infrastructure in the Nordics, the project gains valuable technical assurance as it moves towards implementation and eventually financial close.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe are proud to support Alby PtX in developing one of Sweden\u2019s pioneering e-Fuel projects,\u201d said Anders Nimgaard Schultz, Director for Power-to-X and Gas Infrastructure at Ramboll. \u201cAs Owner\u2019s Technical Consultant, our role is to ensure that the project is developed on a robust and optimal technical foundation, contributing to Sweden\u2019s broader energy transition goals.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Alby PtX facility will contribute to Sweden\u2019s renewable energy and sustainable aviation objectives by producing e-Fuels derived from water, electricity and captured carbon. The project aims to strengthen the industrial base of V\u00e4sternorrland County and support regional green transition efforts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The appointment of Ramboll reflects continued progress in the development of Alby PtX, underlining that the project is entering the next stage of preparation with experienced and trusted partners in place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
